This has been a busy month for Jaxon. He has really made a lot of developmental changes in leaps and bounds. Of course it is bitter sweet. It is so fun to watch him turning into a "Big Boy" but it is also sad because I love my sweet little baby. He is always on the go these days! Watch out world! Here he comes!

Anniversary Weekend

For our honeymoon four years ago, Mark and I stayed a couple of days at the Riverwalk in San Antonio at the Hyatt Regency. So, for our four year anniversary we decided to back. This was the first time we have EVER left Jaxon overnight. I was pretty nervous. We are so lucky to have family who live so close; my parents kept Jaxon and Mark's parents kept Ozzy. We ended up having a blast. We started off the morning by going to the temple for a couple of hours before we headed to the hotel. The hotel was just as nice as before and the Riverwalk was GREAT. They had Lumineria festival going on so there was plenty of entertainment for the time that we were there. My favorite place that we ate at was Rainforrest Cafe. I think I did pretty well....I only called my mom once a day to check up on how Jaxon was doing. He did really well except for naps. He ate well and slept through the night, but only napped for like 30 min. each day. Now that I know he can handle it, I won't mind if we have to leave him overnight every once in a while.

On the Riverwalk

I am pretty sure this was a new "waterfall" that they didn't have before...
Mark finally got his funnel cake that he has been wanting for years!

Cute Pictures....

Curious George!

The other morning when Jaxon woke up, we heard him on the monitor up to something. There was this really weird noise, and he was being pretty quiet. Mark and I went in together to surprise him; when we found him, he had pulled down the sides of the bumper and had grabbed the monitor that we had rigged up to the end of the crib. Sneaky, sneaky!!

Laundry Fairy...

Mark likes to joke about the "Laundry Fairy" and how he knows that she is busy because he will have left a shirt on the floor and by the next day, it is already washed, folded, and put away again. Yes...the laundry fairy is a busy woman most days!
