Jaxon was obsessed with "papa's lawn mower", otherwise known as a four wheeler. Mark also got to enjoy a day up in the mountains with the quads.

I love Waterton

We can't make a trip up to Canada without visiting our family's favorite spot...Waterton. No matter how windy it is...we always love it. The mountains and the water are breathtaking. The kids(and guys) love to throw rocks in the lake and when it isn't too windy(this time it was crazy as you can see...and cold in july!) we can hike some of the trails. Also, can't stop in without picking up another waterton hoody to add the the collection! Can't wait till next time already!

Take that Marble Slab!

Pretty much the only thing that Glenwood is known for these days in their town of like 300 people is their ice cream parlor. It is AWESOME! Where else can you get MONSTER size scoops for like a dollar?? As a result my family always likes to go multiple times while we are visiting at grandma and grandpa's house. PS....isn't my mom adorable??!!

On the way up....

Since Jenny, Oc, the kids, mom, dad, and us all had to drive, we decided to make the best of it and caravan our way to Glendwood. We left late Friday night armed with our three walkie talkies and car loads. I can't speak for my parents, but for us it was nice that every time we made a stop we got to say to Jaxon "lets go see grammy and gramps and the kids". So of course it made things more interesting. The first picture is the first picture we took of the trip and it is at like 5:45 in the morning....pretty funny! We drove straight through until we got to our long time family friend Kim's house in Billings, Montana. As you can see he was not the happiest little guy while we visited.

62 hours of fun?

Poor Kid!!!

This was his actual Birthday! Mark had to be back to work on Tuesday so on Sunday we were on our 32 hour treck back to Austin. This little boy was such a trooper! I was so worried that he would have a hard time traveling that far....but he was pretty much an angel. He enjoyed watching his George, eating lots of fruit snacks, playing with new toys, and occasionally holding mom and dad's hand. So for lunch on his birthday the only place around that we figured he would like was Carls Junior. He loved his chicken stars!

Little Fish!!

Jaxon's Birthday was on the 18th but since we were going to be out of town we did his Birthday party at the pool a week or so before we had to go. It was nice to have so much of our family and friends come and celebrate with us. Jaxon had so much fun he didn't want to get out of the water except to do bubbles and his cake. He was in the pool until 9......which for Jaxon is super late! Of course I am a bad mom and forgot to take pictures, but here are a few of him blowing out his candle:)
