New Years Eve

Our New Years Eve plans were kinda all over the place this year but really turned out to be such a fun night!! To start off the evening Mark's family came over and we all hung out and ate yummy appetizers.

One of Jaxon's favorite thing to do with his cousins when they come over is listen to their IPOD's with them. Jaxon love his Sara!!

Isn't Robyn adorable? I love when the family comes over cause we don't have to worry about our kids. Everyone else takes care of them:)

Can you tell they were excited to take a picture?? I tell the to say cheese and this is what happens....

Nick, Me, Jenny
One of the things that I love about living here is that I get to see so much of my family so often. For dinner Mark and I went to dinner with Nick, Jenna, and Trever at my brother-in-law's restaurant called Stack Burger Bar downtown. My sister was there for the night with a friend too. Love them!

One of the few pictures we have of us we realized!

When we left the restaurant to head back to the King's house, we were by the river and they had an amazing firework show. So of course we pulled over in the parking lot and watched. We got dinner and a show. Awesome!!

Trever and Jenna standing in sewage while filming:)

Nick got a good view!

To end off the evening we headed back to the King's for dessert and games to ring in the new year. Jared and Juliet joined us and we played this awesome new game that my sister-in-law gave us. Thanks everyone for such a fun night! And thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Allen for watching our kids for the late night! Love you guys!

Goin' on a Bear Hunt

These kids adore grammy! She is so good at capturing their attention with activities. In the first picture they are Going on a Bear Hunt…even Miriam was joining in. In the second one it was The Button Factory. (Gotta love Jaxon in the background picking his nose!)

Austin Zoo

So we are horrible parents and have never taken Jaxon to the zoo. He is THREE! On a whim, wanted to go to a zoo this week but didn't want to drive far with our kids who hate the car. The austin zoo was perfect. We had heard really bad things, but decided to give it a shot. We went with Octavio and the kids and had a blast. The Lions and Tigers were amazing. They were so huge and just majestic. It was the perfect size for us because by the time we saw everything it had been two hours and the kids were ready for lunch. Such a nice morning!
